- There are people who beautify the lives of people they know, sometimes even those they don't know, and show that life is worth living. Interestingly, when viewed from the outside, these people generally appear as grumpy, opposite and difficult characters. At first you think you should stay away, but once you get to know him and see what he brings to your life, you become unable to give up on that person. There are two, maybe three people in my life, and one of them is undoubtedly İzzet Çapa, the author of the book you are holding in your hands. Maybe İzzet will remember, maybe he won't, I first met him in the first half of the 1980s, at Regine, the most popular discotheque of those times. In the DJ booth, he was busy getting people excited with records on a turntable he was not tall enough for. It was our mutual friend, my dear Aslı Atay, who introduced us. At that time, İzzet was probably a secondary school student, but in the footsteps of the brothers I had known before him, he started to sign the entertainment life of Istanbul with Candlesticks. Due to the difference in our lifestyles, our next meeting with İzzet was years later. İzzet was now İzzet Çapa; The horn ear surpassed İzzet's brothers. It was his job to entertain Istanbul, feed it and drink it. We met at night and chatted a little, but we weren't friends yet. The reason why our paths crossed and small conversations turned into a great friendship was not İzzet's job, but his occupation. On the other hand, İzzet Çapa was writing articles and doing interviews that showed that his intellectual side was strong due to the structure of his family, and this attracted my attention. However, these works were left aside and could not reach the large masses they needed to reach. I called and said, Come, let's meet. He managed to transform himself from a fun guy into a terrific media character. He already has an obsessive personality who thinks about doing his best no matter what he does. This meeting made us two wonderful friends. He came into my life as the most complex personality I have ever known. It is not easy to find someone who contains Yin and Yang in perfect harmony and whose friendship and hostility you can trust so much. In all its complexity, I have never seen anyone as clear as him in my life. I have never come across such a smart madman who carries an incredibly complex personality so uncomplicated.You will feel yourself in his world when you read the life of a wonderful man who squeezed several decades of experience into every year he lived, ran fearlessly with open arms to all kinds of innovations, and generously passed on the unlimited experience he learned from all these to his loved ones.
