Işte bu süreç sonucunda “Tarih tahmin edilebilir mi?”, “Toplum nasıl yönetilmeli?” ya da “Imparatorluklar neden yükselir ve çöker?” gibi soruları sormaktan çekinmeyen destansı Vakıf Serisi ortaya çıktı. Galaktik Imparatorluk’un altın çağıydı. Binlerce yıldır gezegenler bu kadim medeniyetçe yönetiliyordu.
