The book, published by Editions Gallimard, comprises 112 pages and is available in French, showcasing Delerm's trademark simplicity and poetic style. Readers appreciate how the collection captures nuances of everyday moments, such as the dilemmas faced when one runs out of essentials like bread. While it offers an engaging perspective, some find certain vocabulary challenging, making it best suited for those wishing to maintain a high proficiency in French. Overall, this book is a delightful read for anyone looking to reflect on the beautifully mundane aspects of life.
