Kindle Edition Spanish & Portuguese Editorial Review
Las Galletas is a heartfelt exploration of life and tradition through the eyes of Oscar as he recounts his grandmother Elva's experiences from Tenerife's north to a charming fishing village in the south. This intimate narrative resonates with many, capturing the essence of simple yet profound moments that evoke nostalgia. The book's brevity, with short chapters, makes it an easy and quick read, perfect for those who appreciate emotional storytelling. Reviewers appreciate the familiarity of the canarian context and find value in the shared experiences, although some note that the prose can feel simplistic and lacking in dramatic tension.
