Mass Market Paperback Family Life Editorial Review
Las vírgenes suicidas Compactos is a captivating and emotionally charged novel by Jeffrey Eugenides. Readers have been deeply moved by the author's unique narrative style that portrays events through the eyes of adolescent boys, adding a layer of complexity to the Lisbon sisters' tragic story. Many find the book thought-provoking, touching on serious themes while maintaining accessible language. Some reviews note that the pacing can feel slow at times, yet the engaging storyline compels readers to keep turning the pages to uncover the reasons behind the sisters' actions. Interestingly, some readers experienced discrepancies with the book edition received compared to the image online, highlighting a potential concern for buyers.
