Summit Baits & Lures 119-1 Editorial Review
The Mosquito Bits use the active ingredient Bti, which is a natural bacterium. It is registered by the EPA and is approved for organic gardening. The granules are effective in killing mosquito larvae as well as fungus gnats. It is easy to apply, and application instructions can be found on the label. While the company states that it is safe for use around animals, one customer reported that their dog became sick and vomited after using the product. Another customer reported that it killed their new flower plants grown from seeds. However, most others have positive reviews for its effectiveness in getting rid of pests. It can be bought in a 20 lb. tub or a 30-ounce shaker container, which is more convenient to use.
