Polar Proof is not suitable for cotton, and if the material is other than fleece, Nikwax has a variety of suitable products for different materials, including gloves. The main ingredients include propylene glycol, acetic acid, zirconium acetate and some other proprietary ingredients. Polar Proof is suitable for softshell gloves.
