The Makita BO5041K is a 5-inch sander with a cord that uses round discs that pre punched with holes for excellent performance. It is built to use on various sanding applications and doubles as a polisher. The sander is a variable speed and a dust catcher that works well when used with a shop vac. Makita has assembled this tool in their Buford, GA, factory with parts made in Japan or their plants in China. Users appreciate the ease of use and comfortable grip that doesn't give problems. It provides excellent, long-lasting results compared to other sanders. However, the package does not come with a case, and the dust catcher does not work well in some people's cases despite the consistent quality of the tool.
