Roosebeck Dulcimers DMTSL3 Editorial Review
The 3 String Trail Dulcimer seems to be a great option for those looking for a travel instrument. It is smaller than a full-size dulcimer but still maintains good quality and sound. Users have mentioned that it is easy to play and produces a pleasant sound, even for those who are still learning to play. It is also said to be less delicate than a full-size dulcimer, making it more portable and resistant to damage. One downside mentioned by users is that the dulcimer can only be played up to the 9th fret, limiting the range of songs that can be played. Additionally, due to its small size, it may be more challenging to tune precisely, and it is recommended for singalongs rather than precise tuning. One customer mentioned receiving the dulcimer with the strings mistakenly strung in the wrong order. This required them to order a separate set of strings and re-string the instrument themselves. Overall, the 3 String Trail Dulcimer seems to offer good value for its price. It is well-made, produces a surprisingly loud sound, and is highly recommended by users for its quality and portability.
