Acronis Backup TI-20-MB-RT-WM-EN Editorial Review
The Acronis True Image 2017 software is a reliable and robust backup and cloning solution that offers a range of options for users. While the interface may not be the most user-friendly, the software provides essential features for creating backups, restoring files, and even cloning drives. One of the standout features of Acronis True Image 2017 is its ability to create backups that can be used on multiple computers of the same model or even different models. However, it is important to save the drivers for WLAN or LAN before beginning the process. The software is also capable of saving the system state and supports both file backup and file copy. In terms of accessing backup files, while users can see the backup in its original formatting if it is not encrypted, they need to download the file to do so. Acronis does not provide a thumbnail image of the file, and users need to click "recover files" in the Console, which will redirect them to Acronis Cloud to access their files. Customers have generally had positive experiences with Acronis True Image 2017, praising its effectiveness in transferring operating systems, its user-friendly registration process, and the availability of additional software and tech support. However, there have been some complaints about compatibility issues, difficulties with loading and registering the software, and the lack of technical support for older versions. Overall, Acronis True Image 2017 is a reliable and comprehensive backup solution, but it may require some effort to navigate the interface and address compatibility issues with older versions.
