This fibreglass laminating resin from TotalBoat is suitable for building boats or cars, repairing surfboards, or creating other fibreglass structures. Users should note that wax must be added to the resin in thinner layers to cure fully. The set-up is tacky and ready for the next coat, and the final coat should include curing agent and hardener, which will dry properly. The finish is clear with a brown tint, and it is suitable for applying non-skid deck paint. However, if aesthetics are important, it's recommended to look for crystal-clear products. The resin may be used to patch up a deck, but there are better options, such as marine varnish, teak oil, and penetrating epoxy. The resin with added sanden aid may work for skid plates but use finish resin for visible parts.
