แแแกแฃแฎแ: The Gemini Taurus and Gryphon Zephyr have completely different parts in both sizes and manufacturer. Each has a proprietary kit and won't work with another saw. -

Can you cut bottoms of bottles off?
แแแกแฃแฎแ: The Taurus Series of saws do not have the vertical clearance to cut the end of a bottle off. However Gemini's Apollo Series DOES have the clearance and can cut the ends of bottles, and we have even cut bottles in half, lengthwise. -

What is the grit of the standard blade?
แแแกแฃแฎแ: There really isn't a 'grit' per se as it's a saw. It's fairly fine, and if you get good enough at cutting there may be no need for grinding. This cuts through glass just great, and it's a round blade, so you can cut in more than one direction. -

What are the dimensions of this belt?
แแแกแฃแฎแ: Doesn't look like it to me. I measure mine closer to 3/8 wide, 1/8 thick and close to 40 inches long. -

แแแกแฃแฎแ: That sounds like you may have a worn grommet. Have you watched their video on maintaining the saw? Well worth it and even somewhat entertaining. The stabilizer helps you from pushing the blade in different directions.

Gemini Taurus Replacement Kit is a complete replacement kit for the Taurus 2.2 ring saw, except for the face shield. It includes a standard blade, a drive belt, a set of grommets, and a stabilizer foot. The blade is sharp and can cut through glass with ease. The drive belt is well-made and has a reasonable lifespan. The set of grommets fit easily and prevent the blade from slipping. Finally, the stabilizer foot is incredibly helpful in preventing the blade from slipping off the glass. Although the kit is advertised as a complete replacement kit for the Taurus 2.2 ring saw, it does not include a face shield. Also, this kit does not fit the Taurus 3 as it is for Taurus 2.2 only. The blade is not compatible with the Taurus 2 or the Gryphon Zephyr saw.
