Radiohead Format: Vinyl Rock XL 781 Editorial Review
The Collector's Edition of Radiohead's legendary album, OK Computer, has received an enthusiastic reception among fans and newcomers alike. The allure of this set lies not only in the iconic original album but also in its thoughtful packaging and the additional content provided in the form of a bonus CD and a DVD. Fans appreciate the environmentally friendly box-style packaging, which eliminates plastic, aligning with growing trends toward sustainability. While the included postcards have been deemed somewhat unnecessary, they add a hint of artistic flair to the collection. The standout feature of this edition is undoubtedly the second disk, which Consists of B-sides and live recordings from the OK Computer singles. Reviewers have praised this disk for its exceptional content, claiming it alone is worth the price of the entire set. Highlights include rare tracks such as "Polyethylene (Parts 1 & 2)" and "Climbing Up The Walls (Zero 7 Mix)," showcasing the depth of Radiohead's catalog and appealing to dedicated fans. However, sentiments towards the DVD included in this collector's edition are mixed. While the music videos and live recordings are enjoyable, some customers wished for a more varied selection. This aspect may leave a bit to be desired for those looking for a comprehensive visual experience. Overall, the Collector's Edition of OK Computer is hailed as an excellent investment for fans of the album and offers a great introduction for new listeners. Those who already appreciate the original album are sure to find much to love in this complete package. **
