LyxPro Combo Amps AGL20 Editorial Review
The amp has one input for instruments and an AUX input for 1.5mm jacks such as IPods. It has a 6-inch speaker that produces a decent sound. The industry standard mic for vocals is the Shure SM58, while the AKG mic could work for running through a P.A. system. The amp is not for bass guitar but may work for practice. The amp would not be suitable to play shows unless it was miced up, and one would perferably need something with a little more volume, such as a Mooer GE100 or a Headrush FRFR powered speaker setup, which could be plugged into the house PA, ran through monitors and out to speakers. The quality of the amp is substandard and occasionally faulty – it may not turn on, or one might receive the wrong colour. Generally, the sound quality is pretty bad, even compared to a cheap amp from a pawnshop.
