The Nobsound 100W Full Frequency Mono Channel Digital Power Amplifier is a well-made and fine-sounding little amp that is based on the TI TPA3116D2 chip. It is perfect for most applications and produces a high-quality 3.5-watt signal before distortion becomes intrusive. However, some customers incorrectly believed it was a "50-watt" or "100-watt" amplifier. One user switched out their 50-watt speakers for 100-watt speakers and blew the horns. The device accepts a 1/8th (3.5 mm) stereo cable and requires a DC power supply of 24V and a 4 ohm speaker to output the full 100W. The full range amplifier will work with a passive sub, but there will be a bleed-through of higher frequencies if the sub can produce them. The device is turned on by turning the volume knob clockwise and off fully counterclockwise. A red light on the device will only dim and not go completely off when the device is turned off, which is normal.
